The Old Posting House is a traditional 16th Century Coaching Inn, specialising in good food, real ales and high-quality Bed & Breakfast accommodation.

Accommodation consists of four double en-suite rooms. Each room is furnished to a high standard with flat screen digital televisions and tea/coffee making facilities.

Good food is served every day from 12 - 2pm and 6.30pm - 9.30pm. Our Sunday Lunch Menu is excellent value at only £9.95 for 3 courses.

The Old Posting House is located on the very edge of the Lake District National Park in the small village of Deanscales, Cockermouth, making it an ideal base for exploring both the Lake District and West Cumbria.

The Old Posting House has been fortunate enough to escape the recent flooding in Cumbria and is therefore open for business as usual.
